It is with great joy and profound admiration that we announce the presence of Ajla Del Ponte at the Ascona-Locarno Run on 16 and 17 October on the Piazza Grande in Locarno.
Ajla Del Ponte, ambassador of the tourist destination Ascona-Locarno (OTLMV) and athlete of the US Ascona, will be present during the Kids Run and the races scheduled on Sunday morning.
After a great indoor and outdoor season, in which she ran the 60 m in 7”03 in Torun (European Champion), fifth in the 100 m Olympic final in Tokyo, fourth in the 4×100 m Olympic final in Tokyo and set a new Swiss record in the 100 m in 10”90, we have the honour and pleasure to welcome her to Piazza Grande in Locarno.
